Landscape Painting Steps 1-2

I forgot to post the progress of my painting. It's a landscape view of two roads meeting between a pair of craggy cliffs.
Work from the back towards the front.
Started with the sunset behind the cliffs. Because it's a sunset I used more oranges and yellows and reds. Even a hint of brown because il be using it later as well. Started with dark deep red and blotted out a line on the top of the picture. Using a sponge btw. Further down I incorporated more orange and yellows. I only used strictly red at the top as well as the yellow near the horizon. (crap I forgot to paint int the sun...) I'm working on the cliffs now and it's an interesting endeavor actually. I've never sponge painted in high school so this is pretty dependent on my classmate Zach. However it's not turning out like i wanted. I got out the sponges but.... I'm going to have to use paint knives now... Another thing I've never used before.

As my progress continues, I'll post more pictures... do not use the images unless you have my permission.

Peace~ I'll post when I've got more~

I hate hormones

MPA (Musical Performance Ajudacation (sp??)) is tomorrow, and my dad(the band director)'s being a pissant.
More of a bitch than usual, and its starting to bug the crap out of me.
I want to smack him, just like when I accidentally broke the head on the bongos at the competition on Saturday.
And now I have to pay for them?
The. Fuck.
It's not like I was purposefully going to break them.
It just happened that way and its not fair that he acts like such a bitch.
>=[
Part of my anger is derived from the fact that I am a teenage female going through HUGE mood swings.

I've been so busy lately that I've had no time nor concentration to be cleaning what my dad wants either. I didn't know that the kitchen was to be cleaned, but I cleaned my room like he asked.
I'm wanting him to shut up, before I shut his mouth for him with my fist.

We haven't started painting our landscapes, even though we said we would, but I've already transferred the picture to an 18 x 21 area, and I'm just waiting for materials.
In the meantime, I'm sketching a lot. Now that I'm establishing my grounds with Djorge, he and I are partners when it comes to figure sketching. (Because we're both done).
He's getting the hint that when I don't like something, I'll make it blatantly clear.
Because that's the kind of person I am.

Off to Theatre Arts...
and Ghetto-ized version of the Merchant of Venice.
...
Oh my.
TTFN.

Landscape Rough Draft

Ne, I've started this blog (even though I've already gotten one) because I feel its appropriate to let the people who might read this, know what I'm going to be doing with my time in art class.
I've got to start a portfolio this spring so I'll be ready for Art come fall (or summer, it depends).
I have an idea for the beginning of a series titled "Hearts".
I've yet to enact upon it though, considering that currently in art class, I'm working on the final draft of a landscape. I'll be painting in Tempura Tempera (XD i always mis-spell that... maybe its a sign that I want Japanese tonight?), as opposed to Watercolor because the amount of details (or as i've been saying "activity", even though my subject has to do with cliffs, rivers, and trees) wouldnt be able to precisely depicted by such efforts. Its a sunset. I've got the rough draft done, so ill post that later (or edit this entry) so that you can see.
Peace <3

EDIT
This is the picture aforementioned. the scanner didn't quite get it all, and I didn't add shadows to begins with so...
ANYWAYS, here it be <3
